Enjoy a ride in a traditional wooden dhow from Fumba, which is located in the south-east of Zanzibar and is still a very pristine and remote location, to one of the three snorkeling spots to enjoy the unique underwater world of Zanzibar.

Itinerary
09:00am – After breakfast, you will be guided to stone town tour, this is the world heritage site by UNESCO. With our guide you will walk on the footsteps of Arab Sultans of Zanzibar. Discovery of the wonderful labyrinths of Zanzibar, visit of the historical sites, presentation of the Zanzibar doors, their roles and significance.
02:00pm – After lunch, you will be heading to a traditional wooden boat which will take you to Prison Island. The islet was formerly used as a private detention for disobedient slaves. Later a jail was constructed, but never actually used.
Today the island is a small tourist resort, famous for its giant tortoises. Our tour guide will give you a short introduction to the islet’s interesting past and you can then spend some time sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling or walking around to see tortoises and peacocks. You will be driven back to the hotel.
8:30am – Pick up from the hotel to Fumba village for full day trip which includes mainly snorkeling and swimming around natural coral reefs.
12:00pm – You will break for lunch at Kwale Island for barbeque with fresh sea food, vegetables along with tropical fruits. After lunch you may want to discover the oldest and biggest Baobab Tree or just continue your leisure time sunbathing / swimming.
09:00am - Pick up from the hotel and drive to a spice farm. You will be overwhelmed by the abundance of exotic spices, fruits and vegetables growing in these tropical gardens. Serve different fresh spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, ginger, vanilla, turmeric, black pepper, and cloves. Taste a variety of fruits which are seasonal.
Spices from Zanzibar are famous around the world and a holiday to Zanzibar would be incomplete without a visit to the spice plantations!
01:00pm - You will be picked up from the tour and heading to Jozani Forest which you will get to see the most known special species that make the Island become an identified as the only place in the world that these creatures can survive and are well known as RED COLOBUS MONKEY. Not only that, you will also get to see different kind of trees and herbs such mangroves, mahogany, casuarina trees etc that make Zanzibar the special Island. After the tour, you will be driven back to the hotel.
06:00am – Pick up from the hotel and drive to Matemwe Village.
This is a half day tour which is done at Mnemba Island on the North East of the Island. You can swim or snorkeling as you wish. There is an 80% chance to spot the Bottle Nose Dolphins and ham buck dolphins which are on the marine conservation area; you can even swim with the dolphins if you are up for it. After the tour, you will be driven back to the hotel.
09:00am – Pick up from the hotel and drive to Mangapwani to see the slave’s cave and the well inside it which was once discovered by the slaves.
11:30am – After the tour, you will be driven to the North of the Island. At the Kinyasini village, a local will show and explain how the coconut is essential for the villagers. You can participate and learn how to remove the husk and witness the grating process.
At the Mkokotoni fish market you can see the variety of fish caught in the Zanzibar Sea. Then, we visit a local blacksmith showing how to manually make nails.
Lunch will be taken at the beach restaurant in Nungwi where you will be given the chance to take a splash into the turquoise blue water. So do not forget to bring your swim wear!
